Jonathan Hadas is principal bass clarinetist of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, a position he has held since 2010. Renowned for his artistry and dynamic presence across classical, contemporary, and crossover repertoire, he is a founding member of the Meitar Ensemble and has appeared at festivals including the Heimbach Festival and the Eilat Jazz Festival, collaborating with artists such as Omer Avital, Avishai Cohen, Sharon Kam, and Christian Tetzlaff.
His career encompasses orchestral performance, solo engagements, and chamber music, with additional work in jazz, chanson, and world music. He is a member of Meitar Ensemble, Pinhas & Sons, Chorolê, and Tomboys.
In addition to his performing career, Jonathan is an active educator, regularly presenting masterclasses and mentoring young musicians.
